I’ve formed a career doing the things I love: marketing and communications. 

I began my career leading marketing, sales and project management efforts for the construction and development of over $50 million in residential assets, through a national housing crisis. From there, I managed a revolving portfolio of national real estate projects exceeding $5 million in assets for Clayton, one of America’s largest homebuilders. 

In my free time, I launched an eCommerce business and grew sales by an average of over 100% each year until selling the business in 2016. 

I led internal and external communications strategy for Clayton, through a company-wide rebranding effort, implementing new internal communications tools and processes that resulted in an increase of corporate communication satisfaction levels to over 90%, among management personnel. I also managed the brand’s external voice, leveraging local, regional and national public relations efforts to boost brand awareness through engaging content and company news. 

In my current role, I most recently led digital advertising & social media strategy for a team awarded with the 2017 MarCom Platinum Award in the Strategic Communications | Marketing/Promotion Campaign category. 

I thrive in roles where I can combine creative strategy, technical execution and good old-fashioned hard work to deliver exceptional results. 

Advanced ability in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google AdWords, Shopify and Facebook Advertising.

TN FLY CO

TN FLY CO was created in 2012 as a fly fishing apparel and accessories brand. I designed the Tri-Fly logo as a take on the Tennessee state flag, mimicking the Tri-Star logo. The first products were t-shirts and hats featuring the Tri-Fly logo, which I eventually expanded into other products and other new designs. Several other brands and logos were created under the TN FLY CO umbrella, including: Trout South, TFC Southern and OOGA. Products were sold both online and through brick and mortar retailers. 

In 2016, I sold the business in its entirety to another individual.

Summary of work completed on project: initial brand strategy, concept and logo design; website design and development; marketing strategy, development and execution; vendor management, product sourcing, order fulfillment, customer service and client relationship management.

WELLE

WELLE was a concept for a lifestyle apparel and accessories brand aimed at combining the carefree spirit of the California surf and skate culture with the humble Americana vibes of the 1970’s.
